A simple, light and lovely cucumber, heirloom tomato & cilantro salad for your enjoyment. Make sure you fancy cilantro’s controversial taste before endeavoring upon this recipe.
Required equipment for this recipe:
- Kitchen knife
- Cutting board
- Large salad bowl
- Utensils to mix ingredients
- 2 cucumbers peeled and sliced
- 1 heirloom tomato sliced
- 1/3 cup cilantro chopped
- 1/4 cup thyme leaves chopped
- 2-3 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- lime juice (half of a lime)
- natural salt to taste

Get ingredients ready for preparation and use.

Add peeled and sliced cucumbers along with the sliced heirloom tomato to bowl.

Add the chopped thyme and cilantro leaves, as well as olive oil, hemp seeds and lime juice.

Mix ingredients and voila.

Garnish each serving with cilantro leaves and an additional sprinkling of hemp seeds. Perhaps a slice of lime while you're at it?
