Kale and berries… kale and berries I said… What better “green smoothie” can you get? And don’t tell me about those 20-ingredient fancy superfood green smoothies that you’ll almost struggle to entice people to make.
In the name of expanding the collection of keep-it-simple recipes, here’s a delicious banana, curly kale & mixed berry smoothie for your enjoyment.
Required equipment for this recipe:
- Kitchen knife
- Cutting board
- High speed blender

- 5 bananas
- 2 cups curly kale de-stemmed (and optionally chopped)
- 1 cup mixed berries
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 cup water
- 2-4 ice cubes

Get ingredients ready for preparation and use.

In a high speed blender, add bananas, de-stemmed kale, mixed berries, coconut oil, ice cubes, and water.

Blend until contents have been liquefied and desired consistency reached.

Your smoothie is ready for serving!
