Smoothies are the quick and easy way to start your day, and indeed a sneaky way to mask leafy greens. Here’s a filling smoothie recipe including baby spinach and blackberries, complemented with coconut water as well as coconut oil.
Required equipment for this recipe:
- 4 medium size bananas sliced
- 150 grams baby spinach
- 250 grams blackberries
- 2 cups coconut water
- 1½ teaspoons coconut oil
Get ingredients ready for preparation and use.
Add ingredients to your blender in the following order: sliced bananas > coconut water > coconut oil > spinach > blackberries.
Whiz it up!
And voila, your smoothie is ready for serving!
As always, try as best you can to procure and use organic ingredients. Make sure to rinse and clean your produce properly before use.
Use cold-pressed, organic, non-refined and unheated oils only. (But it's not the end of the world if you use refined coconut oil.)
