Romaine, Avocado & Pine Nut Salad

  • 1 head romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • lemon juice (half lemon)
  • himalayan crystal salt to taste
  • mixed peppercorns to taste


  1. Get ingredients ready for preparation and use.

  2. Add romaine lettuce to bowl.

  3. Add garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, ground peppercorns and himalayan crystal salt to bowl.

  4. Use hands to massage and mix bowl contents for 30 seconds.

  5. Add avocado and pine nuts to bowl and mix ingredients lightly.

  6. Optionally allow lettuce to marinade for 15-20 minutes, and serve.

Recipe Notes

As always, try as best you can to procure and use organic ingredients. Make sure to rinse and clean your produce properly before use.

Use cold-pressed, organic, non-refined and unheated oils only.

Look for olive oil in dark bottles that contain sediment at the bottom, indicating a high quality, natural, and unrefined extra virgin olive oil that was packaged while the oil was fresh.

Locate a source of non-rancid, quality and organic pine nuts.
